Calendar 2 Server Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Calendar 2 Server ("App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Provider
- Publisher: Astronauta DEV
- Contact: [email protected]
3. What the app does
Calendar 2 Server performs one-way sync from selected Android device calendars to destinations configured by you:
- ICS upload target (
PUTorPOST, raw or multipart) - CalDAV overwrite target
The App does not edit your source device calendars. In CalDAV overwrite mode, the App is designed to replace remote collection contents.
4. Eligibility and lawful use
You must use the App only for lawful purposes and only with data/endpoints you are authorized to access.
You are responsible for:
- Compliance with local laws and regulations
- Permissions and consent for calendar data you process
- Correct configuration of destination endpoints
5. Account and credentials
The App does not require a publisher-hosted account.
You are responsible for:
- Protecting endpoint credentials you configure
- Rotating compromised credentials
- Ensuring credential scope is appropriate for your server
6. Background sync and device behavior
Automatic sync uses Android background job scheduling and may depend on:
- OS scheduling decisions
- Battery optimizations
- Network or charging constraints
- Device manufacturer behavior
Scheduled execution timing is best-effort, not guaranteed to the exact minute.
7. CalDAV overwrite warning
If you use CalDAV replicate/overwrite mode, the App may delete and re-upload remote event resources in the target collection to match the generated dataset.
You accept responsibility for this behavior and should test on non-production collections, maintain remote backups, and verify collection URLs before enabling profiles.
8. No hosted sync service
The publisher does not provide a managed sync backend for this App. Data transfer occurs from your device directly to endpoints you configure. Any third-party server you use is governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy.
9. Open source components
The App includes open-source software under their respective licenses. Use of those components is subject to applicable license terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, calendar content, business interruption, or server-side data loss resulting from configuration or use of the App.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the publisher from claims or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Misconfiguration of endpoints
- Unauthorized processing of calendar data
- Violation of applicable law or third-party rights
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The publisher may discontinue or modify the App at any time.
14. Changes to terms
These Terms may be updated over time. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version.
